Argentina Mesonet Data

Project:

Summary

This data set consists of surface meteorological data from different existing surface networks maintained by different institutions (see below) that publish the data in real time through their website. Most of these automated weather stations are located in Argentina and its neighboring countries. The data was collected in real-time by Centro de Investigaciones del Mar y la Atmósfera (CIMA) during the RELAMPAGO (Remote sensing of Electrification, Lightning, And Meso-scale/micro-scale Processes with Adaptive Ground Observations) field season. Data is stored as has been published at the different websites and no quality control has been performed.
