Meso18-19: National Weather Service High Resolution Radiosonde Data
Summary
This data set includes 4914 quality controlled NWS (National Weather Service) soundings released at thirteen sites throughout the southeastern United States during the Verification of the Origins of Rotation in Thunderstorms Experiment-Southeast (VORTEX-SE) Meso18-19 field phase (31 October 2018 to 20 April 2019). Twelve of the stations are available at 1-second vertical resolution (4539 soundings) and one station is available at mandatory and significant level resolution (375 soundings).
