TORUS_2019: National Weather Service High Resolution Radiosonde Data
Summary
This data set includes 1343 quality controlled NWS (National Weather Service) soundings released at eighteen sites throughout the plains region of the central United States during the Targeted Observation by Radars and UAS of Supercells 2019 (TORUS_2019) field phase (15 May to 20 June 2019). Fifteen of the stations are available at 1-second vertical resolution (1128 soundings) and three stations are available at mandatory and significant level resolution (215 soundings).
