TORUS_2019: NSSL Mobile Lidar Data

Summary

This data set contains the observations from the NOAA/National Severe Storms Laboratory (NSSL) mobile lidar that participated in the TORUS (Targeted Observations using Radars and UAS in Supercells) 2019 campaign over the plains region of the United States. Depending on the deployment it could contain the vertical stare vertical velocity data, the Velocity Azimuth Display (VAD) horizontal wind profiles, and/or the Range Height Indicator (RHI) radial velocity data. All data are in NetCDF format.
