STORM-FEST NOAA WP-3D Cloud Microphysics

Summary

NOAA/AOC operated a Lockheed Orion WP-3D from 5 Feb through 10 March 1992 for STORM-FEST (9 flights). The plane carried a tail 3 cm wavelength Doppler radar and a 5 cm wavelength lower fuselage non-coherent radar.
