VORTEX-94 NOAA WP-3D Aircraft Data

Summary

NOAA/AOC operated a NOAA WP-3D aircraft from 10 May to 10 June 1994 for VORTEX for approximately 85 research hours. The aircraft routinely measures flight level state parameters (temperature, moisture and winds) and basic microphysical variables (liquid water and PMS probe data) as well as data collected by its two radars.
