TORUS_2022: NSSL Mobile Lidar Data
Summary
Vertical profiles of horizontal winds and vertical velocities measured by the NOAA/National Severe Storms Laboratory (NSSL) mobile lidar that participated in the TORUS (Targeted Observations using Radars and UAS in Supercells) 2022 campaign over the plains region of the United States. There were two NSSL Halo Streamline Doppler lidars on the truck one primarily for vertical stares for vertical velocity and the other performing off-zenith scans for horizontal winds. All data are in NetCDF format and quick look imagery are also included.
