Barrow Meteorological Observations 1945-2004 [NWS]

Project:

Summary

This data set contains standard meteorological data collected at Barrow since 1945. These data have been hand-edited from the original raw files (available at National Climatic Data Center (NCDC)) to remove spikes and obviously contaminated data. Some of these data were reported by observers while other time periods contain data collected by automated stations. Two datafiles are included, one representing the edited data and the second containing edited data that have been linearly interpolated from the original observation time periods to the 0th minute of each hour for the entire record.
