PERiLS_2023: UAH MAPNet MIPS Surface Meteorological Data
Summary
Data from the University of Alabama-Huntsville (UAH) Mobile Atmospheric Profiling Network (MAPNet) Mobile Integrated Profiling System (MIPS) 6-m retractable surface met tower that was deployed at locations around the southeastern United States for five PERiLS 2023 deployments. The PERiLS deployments were on 16-17 February, 3, 24-25, and 31 March and 1 and 5 April 2023. Measurements include air temperature, pressure, relative humidity, winds, and precipitation.
Archive note
For IOP4 (31 March and 1 April 2023) the MIPS was located near the UAH BERM surface meteorological station so those data are included here as the MIPS met station was not deployed.
