DYCOMS-II: GTS Three-Hourly Synoptic Observation Data (GEMPAK)

Summary

The GTS Three-Hourly Synoptic Observation Data is one of several surface data sets collected by the National Center For Atmospheric Research/Earth Observing Laboratory (NCAR/EOL) as part of the Dynamics and Chemistry of Marine Stratocumulus Phase II: Entrainment Studies (DYCOMS-II) project. Included in the data set are the global three-hourly surface synoptic observations. These data are contained in daily files which are in GEMPAK format. The data cover the period from 7 - 28 July 2001. The data were acquired via the UNIDATA Local Data Manager (LDM).
