GAPP: DOE ARM SGP Surface Meteorological Observation System (SMOS) Data

Summary

This data set contains 1 minute resolution surface meteorological data from the Department of Energy (DOE) Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) Southern Great Plains (SGP) Surface Meteorological Observation System (SMOS). These SMOS stations are located at many of the ARM SGP Extended Facilities in southern Kansas and northern Oklahoma. This data set covers the period from 1 July 2001 through present. These data are in monthly zip files that have an average size of 18 Mb. UCAR/JOSS has not done any additional processing or quality control on these data.
