BAMEX WMI Learjet QC Dropsonde Data
Summary
This is one of the upper-air data sets developed for the Bow Echo and Mesoscale Convection Vortex Experiment 2003 (BAMEX 2003). This data set contains 438 soundings launched between 5/24/2003 and 7/06/2003 from the Weather Modification Inc. (WMI) Lear Jet 35 aircraft. The dropsonde data was provided by the National Center for Atmospheric Research Atmospheric Technology Division (NCAR/ATD).
