RICO: S-band Polarimetric (S-Pol) Data DORADE Format, 9 Variables [NCAR/EOL]


The dataset spans the entire RICO S-Pol period (24-Nov-2004 thru 25-Jan-2005) and contains all available S-Pol sweeps. The data set incorporates two substantial changes to the original data set: a 1.4 dB adjustment to S-band DBZ, and a .35 dB adjustment to S-band Zdr.

This data set is limited to 9 S-Pol variables, and does not include any of the Ka-band data. Parameters available are: DBZ, DM, DX, LDR, NCP, PHIDP, SW, VR and ZDR.

Total data set size is approximately 910 GB.
