RAINEX: Barbados Rawinsonde Data
Summary
This is one of the upper air data sets developed for the Hurricane Rainband and Intensity Change Experiment (RAINEX). Ut includes 139 high vertical resolution (2 second) soundings from Barbados. (WMO 78954). Soundings were typically released twice per day (0000 and 1200 UTC) from 1 July to 29 October 2005. This dataset contains soundings released during hurricanes: Dennis, Emily, Katrina, Ophelia, and Wilma.
