RAINEX: Trinidad Rawinsonde Data

Summary

This is one of the upper air data sets developed for the Hurricane Rainband and Intensity Change Experiment (RAINEX). It includes 180 high vertical resolution (2 second) soundings from Trinidad. (WMO 78970). Soundings were typically released twice per day (0000 and 1200 UTC) from 6 July to 31 October 2005. This dataset includes sounding during hurricanes: Dennis, Emily, Gert, Katrina, Ophelia, Rita, and Wilma.
