VOCALS: FAAM BAe-146 Dropsonde Data
Summary
This data set includes 47 high vertical resolution (0.5-sec) soundings collected from 31 October 2008 to 13 November 2008 aboard the FAAM BAe-146 aircraft, which was based in Arica, in the most northern part of Chile close to the Peruvian border. The data are in the NCAR/EOL Sounding Composite format. Users are strongly encouraged to contact FAAM BAe for guidance on using their dropsonde data.
