NERC Dornier 228 SPECIMs Eagle and Hawk Hyperspectral Imagers Data [Vaughan/ Univ. of Manchester]

Project:

Summary

The NERC Dornier 228 SPECIMs Eagle and Hawk Hyperspectral Imagers Data are very large (several terabytes) and the raw data is not geolocated. Geolocated files are much bigger again and awkward to handle. The data source has also found that the spectral calibration of the sensors was inaccurate, so that cloud properties cannot be derived from the data without applying empirical corrections. For this reason prospective users are advised to contact the PI, Prof Geraint Vaughan (Geraint DOT Vaughan AT manchester DOT ac DOT uk), to access these data.
