WISPIT: Winter Icing Storms Project Instrumentation Test

Summary

The Winter Icing and Storms Project Instrumentation Test (WISPIT) project tested a number of instruments planned for use aboard the NCAR King Air in a major field program in 1994. It focused on outstanding microphysical questions from the previous field seasons, especially the origin of ice crystals in winter clouds.
