Shelfbreak: Shelfbreak Front

Summary

Shelfbreak was a program for field observational study of the shelf/slope front in the Middle Atlantic Bight. This front is an important water mass boundary of the thermohaline class extending along the shelf break from Cape Hatteras to Georges Bank. The sampling domain included two cross-front and one alongfront hydrographic transects.
