MAYPOLE84: May Polarization Experiment 1984
Summary
MAYPOLE84 was a joint experiment between FOF at NCAR, OSU (Ohio State University), CSU (Colorado State University), and NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration). The experiment was conducted near Boulder, Colorado during May and June 1984. The purpose of MAYPOLE84 was to test recent modifications to NCAR's CP-2 radar which enabled it to take dual-polarization measurements.
