MASCRAD: Multi Angle Snowflake Camera-Radar experiment
Summary
Detailed snow particle imagery will be taken by a custom-designed multiple view digital camera. The resultant 3D representations of the particles will be used to initialize an improved electromagnetic scattering model. The model results will be compared with dual-polarization observations from EOL S-PolKa and CSU CHILL of snow echoes at the camera site.
