Pre-BB-FLUX: Pre Biomass Burning Fluxes of Trace Gases and Aerosols

Summary

The 2017 Pre Biomass Burning Fluxes of Trace Gases and Aerosols campaign tested the installation of the CU solar tracker and the CU SOF on the University of Wyoming King Air research aircraft in the fall of 2017. During the testing period the aircraft was briefly deployed to Sacramento, CA to sample smoke from the October 2017 fires. This resulted in the first measurements of emissions fluxes on the scale of entire wildfires.  These measurements were continued in 2018 during the BB-FLUX campaign.
