COMET_CASE_014: COMET Case Study 014: Midwest Cold Season Synoptic Storm

Summary

This case covers a storm that is an example of "classical" cyclone development with some structure similar to the Norwegian conceptual model of storm development.

Objectives:

This case was chosen to provide an example of a case that contains most of the classical structures in many synoptic systems. It is especially useful for beginning level students.
