Ice Camp Mobile Radiometric Platform Measurements (Link to CU) [Maslanik, J.]

Project:

Summary

A mobile platform was employed at the SHEBA site to provide detailed spatial and temporal sampling of a subset of radiometric measurements comparable to those obtained at the PAM sites. This platform was portable enough to reach locations with a variety of sea-ice conditions and to acquire data along transects quickly enough to allow meaningful comparison to satellite products. The Mobile Radiometric Platform (MRP) was deployed at the SHEBA site during April-mid May 1998.
