GCIP/GIST: NWS High Resolution Radiosonde Data

Summary

The GCIP/GIST 6-second NWS Soundings dataset contains high resolution sounding data extracted from NWS MicroART Sounding systems at 12 sites in the GIST domain. The dataset contains one sounding level every 6 seconds. These data have been extensively quality-controlled, with every sounding subjected to both computerized consistency checks and human visual review. This dataset includes pressure, temperature, dew point, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and altitude.
