CHEESEHEAD: National Weather Service High Resolution Radiosonde Data
Summary
This data set includes the quality controlled NWS soundings released at seven sites throughout the northern plains of the United States during the Chequamegon Heterogeneous Ecosystem Energy-balance Study Enabled by a High-density Extensive Array of Detectors (CHEESEHEAD) field phase (23 June to 12 October 2019). The data set includes one second vertical resolution data from six stations (1424 soundings) and mandatory and significant level data from one station (237 soundings).
